HOW TO CLEAN A SILICONE BONG

There are a few different ways you can clean your silicone bong or silicone pipes . We recommend sticking with the classic method of soap and water or trying out the freezer if you’re not in the mood to clean it out just after smoking as silicone smoking accessories, silicone water pipes and etc .

Soap and Water - Remove the downstem or glass slide, dump out used bong water, then wash out with hot water for one minute. Use one or two pumps of liquid soap and a baby bottle brush (preferably) to scrub the smoke chamber, base and joint. Do a final rinse with warm water and leave to dry on a drying rack. For best results, clean right after use, since the resin is still relatively soft and your bong will be easier to clean out.

Freezer - This option is good when you don’t feel like washing it immediately after lighting up. First, remove the downstem, then rinse the bong thoroughly with warm water to remove ash. Freeze for 4-6 hours, then crunch out the ice that’s accumulated along the inside of your bong.

Dishwasher - We do not recommend using a dishwasher, as the resin can stick to the sides of your dishwasher and let’s be honest, no one ordered a side of resin with their meat and potatoes. It is best to keep your dishes for the dishwasher and leave the manual work for your silicone bongs, they are not very difficult to wipe clean anyway so try not to worry too much about the grunt work. 

Iso and Salt - Although this is a classic way to clean your glass bong, we do not recommend using Iso and salt for many silicone bongs , as it will damage the coating and material. Good old soap and water really does the trick when it comes to handling silicone with care, so the extra supplies like isopropyl alcohol and coarse salt for scrubbing are completely unnecessary when it comes to silicone products.
