When most people think of weed edibles, the first thing that comes to mind are sweets like pot brownies, gummies, chocolate, and cookies, but cannabis edibles can be healthy too! If you’re in search of healthy cannabis edibles, it’s best to skip the local dispensary and learn to make edibles at home. Not only is it more cost effective, it’s actually much easier and less time consuming than it seems. The best part is that you can whip up a large batch of cannaoil, cannabutter, or another cannabis infused base that can be kept in your fridge and used over and over again in an infinite number of recipes. We’re rounding up just a few healthy cannabis edibles, but the options are endless!

Best healthy cannabis edibles

Marijuana granola bars

Heading to the beach or on a hike? These enhanced granola bars are a quick, travel-friendly snack that will also get you baked. This easy weed edible recipe calls for cannahoney and just a few other ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry. These quick snacks take just around 10 minutes to make and require no baking! All you need to do is mix all the ingredients together and press it into a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Leave it in the fridge to chill and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • ⅔ cup cannahoney
  • 1 cup creamy nut butter (peanut or cashew work great)
  • 2 ½ cups oats
  • ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix ins: crushed peanuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, 

Elevated acai bowl

Cool off with this elevated acai bowl recipe that incorporates THC-infused honey or agave. It’s also a great dish to give your next wake and bake a healthy twist. In a blender, mix together the frozen acai packets, fruits, and roughly ¾ cup of your favorite milk or juice. Pulse on high and stop to push down any chunks that haven’t been blended. If the mixture is too thick, add additional milk or juice until you have the correct consistency. Transfer to a bowl and top with a healthy dose of cannahoney or other infused sweetener, fresh fruit, granola, and shredded coconut.

Ingredients

  • 2 frozen acai packets
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • Milk or juice
  • Cannahoney or agave
  • Toppings: sliced fruit (bananas, mango, strawberries, etc.), granola, shredded coconut, chia seeds.

Heightened Greek salad

If you have a large batch of cannaoil, Greek salad is a refreshing, healthy cannabis edible that takes just minutes to prepare. Start by chopping up the veggies and tossing together in a large bowl. Combine the ingredients for the dressing and pour over the salad. Fold in the feta cheese and top with fresh mint or basil leaves. Remember to check the potency of your cannaoil. If ¼ cup is too potent, you can always use an ⅛ cup of infused oil with ⅛ cup of olive oil to reduce the potency.

Salad ingredients

  • Cucumbers
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Katamala olives
  • Sweet onion
  • Feta cheese
  • Green bell pepper
  • Optional: Fresh mint or basil

Dressing ingredients

  • ¼ cup infused olive oil
  • 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • ¼ tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • Dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper

Healthy fruit juice THC gummies

Gummies are one of those things that seem difficult to make, but are actually really easy. These healthy edible gummies can be made with any 100% fruit juice sweetened thanks to cannahoney and sugar. Add a little more cannahoney depending on the juice of choice and your preferred sweetness level. Create different shaped gummies with a silicone baking mold or simply use a pan for square gummies. Bring the juice, cannahoney, and sugar to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool for 2-3 minutes. In another bowl, prepare the gelatin with equal parts water and immediately add into the juice mixture. Mix until the gelatin is completely dissolved and pour into molds or baking pan. Let the gummies cool in the fridge for 30 minutes, then they’re ready to eat.

Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup 100% fruit juice (grape, pomegranate, apple, grapefruit, pineapple, orange, etc.)
  • 2-3 tbsp cannahoney
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin

Infused frozen chocolate dipped bananas

Heat wave getting to you? It’s time to cool down with some pot-laced frozen bananas. These will instantly be your new favorite summertime snack. If you don’t have popsicle sticks, you can slice the bananas and make chocolate banana bites using the same steps. Begin by covering a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil so the bananas don’t stick. Insert a popsicle stick into each banana and freeze on the baking sheet for 15-20 minutes. Melt the chocolate and cannabutter together in a bowl. Dip each frozen banana in the chocolate and sprinkle with toppings. Put the treats back in the freezer for roughly 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens.

  • Bananas (cut in half)
  • 2 tbsps cannabutter
  • 1 cup chocolate
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles, chopped nuts, condensed milk drizzle, granola, caramel sauce.
