KandyPens Oura Review

Are you a lover of cannabis extracts? Looking for the best electronic dab rig under the sun? The KandyPens Oura was awarded the best portable dab rig and best e-nail for dabs time and time again this past year. This e-rig is a best-seller and for good reason. Its portable, discreet design and wide range of temperature settings make it quick and easy to heat up your concentrates without having to use a torch. But why else has it been such a hot topic? Read our KandyPens Oura review of major highlights and tips to using this device, so you get the most out of your dabbing experience.

If you are a dabber or even dabble in concentrates, the KandyPens Oura is an essential piece to add to your collection. Before dabbing became a thing, there was a lot of stigma around this rather complex process involving a dab rig, which is a specific type of bong and torch - the torch alone is intimidating. Then the KandyPens Oura came along, which simplifies the vaping process through battery-powered atomizers that are also replaceable. Score!

How To Use KandyPens Oura

The KandyPens Oura was made for the ultimate user-friendly experience. This device consists of the battery attachment and atomizer as one piece, and a removable glass bubbled piece that sits on top of the battery attachment. When operating the KandyPens Oura, the device heats up to the pre-set temperature of your choosing and produces vapor. With limited distractions, the KandyPens Oura is one of the very few high-performance vaporizers that functions off of a single operating sensor and has four main temperature settings.

Temperature Settings KandyPens Oura

Yellow Light - 620°F

Green Light - 860°F

Red Light - 980°F

Blue Light - 1090°F

Battery Life KandyPens Oura

The battery level indicator is the LED ring that will glow red, yellow or green. Red is low power, yellow is mid-range battery power and green indicates a full-powered battery charge. This device features a fast-charging feature via the USB-C charging port - a full battery will take about one hour to charge.

How to turn on KandyPens Oura

To turn on the KandyPens Oura, tap the sensor five times. The device will signal its activation and vibrate. Those of us that know how complex these devices can be, the vibration notification is a gem in itself.

What is Sesh Mode KandyPens Oura?

If you want to activate “Sesh Mode”, tap on the sensor twice. The KandyPens Oura will heat the atomizer for one minute, which is useful when hosting smoke sessions or just wanting to take multiple hits in a short amount of time. The unique part about Sesh Mode is that users are able to change the temperature settings as the device is in use - just tap the sensor three times!

KandyPens Oura Step by Step Instructions

When using the KandyPens Oura, fill the water attachment and press it into place. Next, check that the water pipe’s intake holes (at the bottom) line up with the atomizer’s vent. This ensures that the vapor will enter the water pipe attachment and provide a smooth hit. Tip: the water pipe attachment should be filled up so that the two center holes are covered, but make sure to not get water into the air intake valve.

Once your device is charged and the water pipe is filled, turn on the vaporizer by tapping twice. The device will start to heat up, and from here you can select a temperature setting. Lower settings (yellow and green) will heat up in about five seconds, while the higher temperature settings (red and blue) will take around twenty seconds. When the heating process is complete, the KandyPens Oura will vibrate to let you know! Drop your concentrate into the glass bowl and let it dissolve while using your carb cap to cover the lid. This vaporizer can also be used while it is heating up so you don’t have to wait. Perfect for those last-minute quick hits before getting on with your day!

KandyPens Oura Shutoff Mode

The KandyPens Oura takes convenience a step further with its idle, four-minute shutoff time; when your vaporizer is not in use for four minutes, it will turn off and save the battery life. This is a highlight for those of us that constantly forget to turn off our devices - it happens to the best of us.

Are you sure the vibration is telling you when to dab? Mine turns off right after vibrating.
