What exactly is in THC-O products?

Cannabinoids such as tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), two of the most well known, are naturally produced chemical compounds found in cannabis plants. 2. CBD is then turned into Delta-8 THC - The next step is to transform hemp-derived CBD into delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-8 THC). CBD isolate is dissolved into a non-polar organic solvent such as heptane. Then an acid such as hydrochloric acid is added to the mixture, which is mixed constantly for up to 18 hours at roughly 100 degrees celsius. Once the chemical reaction has taken place, the mixture is neutralized with sodium bicarbonate.
